    Camp Verde Community Library Launches Monthly Financial Literacy Workshops

    Verde Valley News – Camp Verde Community Library is pleased to announce the launch of its new financial literacy series, featuring monthly workshops led by David Reardon from the Association of Financial Educators. These workshops will be held at the library on the 3rd Wednesday and Friday of each month from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, covering a broad spectrum of financial topics.

    First Workshop: Financial Balance
    20240907 FinancialLiteracyWorkshop2The inaugural workshop, titled “Financial Balance,” will take place on Wednesday, September 18th, at 11:00 AM. This session is designed for individuals seeking to gain control over their financial organization and management.
    Do you know:
    • How much you save annually?
    • Your current bank balance?
    • The extent of your insurance coverage?
    • The remaining balance on your mortgage?
    If these questions leave you unsure, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to get organized.
    Workshop highlights include Annual Savings Tracking-  Learn methods to accurately track your yearly savings and stay on top of your financial goals; Daily Account Updates-  discover how to monitor your account values, including mutual funds and car loans, from a single, convenient platform; and and Electronic Document Vault-  create a secure digital vault for important documents such as tax returns, investment statements, and insurance policies.
    Commit to financial organization and take the crucial first step towards understanding your financial status and making better financial decisions. This workshop will provide the tools and knowledge needed to achieve that goal.
