    Call to Artists for Made In Clarkdale Art Show 2014

    logo_madeinclarkdaleClarkdale AZ (July 18, 2014) – Made In Clarkdale Art Show 2014 begins with jurying in new artists! The jurying dates for the Made In Clarkdale annual show will be Saturday, August 9, September 13, and October 11, 2014.

    Artists must live, work, or be taking art classes in Clarkdale to be eligible. Previously accepted artists do not have to re-jury if they still live or work in Clarkdale. Those eligible only as students taking art classes must re-jury each year.

    All art media will be considered. Art must be original and conceived and created by the artist. No kits or crafts made from the patterns of others will be accepted.

    Own In Sedona

    Jurying is held at the Yavapai-Apache Learning Center, 1630 Beecher St. in upper Clarkdale. Follow MIC signs at Main St. and S. 16th St. to the round building down the hill on the Clarkdale reservation. Applicants should arrive between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Applicants should bring actual work if possible, at least three pieces or however many are practical to transport and show the jurors the range and depth of the artist’s body of work. Resumes or bios are also encouraged as are photos if the actual pieces are not available for jurying   Questions about jurying can be directed to Sandy Boothe at 928-634-0486 or sandy@ringsforever.com.

    The Opening Gala for Made In Clarkdale will be on Dec. 5th and the show will run Dec. 6-14 at the Clark Memorial Clubhouse in historic downtown Clarkdale. In addition to the art show, there will be evening events throughout the show dates – music performances, a poet slam, theater, and wine tastingss along with daily workshops for kids and an artist demonstration day.
