Jerome AZ (October 24, 2014) – Brandi Lee Cooper is the featured artist at Gallery 527. Opening on November 1 during First Saturday Art Walk, the talented ceramic artist debuts a dramatic four-foot long chandelier, panels reminiscent of forms from the sea and new takes on her much collected functional work. The show is titled “FEAST” and explores the bountiful treasures of the high desert through the eyes of the artist.

20141024_BrandiLeeCooperChan#35Brandi Lee explains, ‘During this harvest season I am reminded that life is like a ‘Feast’ – there is so much beauty in this land that surrounds us, there are so many incredible experiences to have and so much love to share that sometimes it is a challenge to take it all in. This work is inspired by my gratefulness for this life feast.’ Brandi Lee Cooper has just been accepted into the special students program in ceramic arts at Kansas University. She will pursue her craft there for the next year. Pianist Janice Paul will be on hand for a night of music, art and good conversation. Stop by Gallery 527 in Jerome on November 1st from 5 to 8pm. For more information, call Donna at 301.3004.

    Whack – A – Mole War

It looks like the tried-and-true method of armed conflict where armies face each other and kill until somebody wins or gives up, now all it takes is assassinating the leadership Israeli style. We enter a new phase of war where the leaders are killed first rather than last as in conventional warfare.
