logo_sacSedona AZ (July 29, 2014) – This month at Sedona Arts Center, experience the charismatic attitude and wild creativity of member artists in the “Born to Be Wild” Exhibit showing August 1–September 2, 2014. In the music world, the song “Born to Be Wild” evokes a biker’s appearance or attitude. In the Art world, it represents creative freedom. “Get your motor runnin’ Head out on the highway…” and join them for the opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. August 1, 2014.

There’s something for everyone at Sedona Arts Center in Uptown, Sedona. Experience more at the “Born to Be Wild” exhibit, featuring local 35 artists’ creative visions. This exceptional show presents the most unique pieces in oil, ceramics, pastels, jewelry, fiber, mixed media, photography, sculpture, glass, acrylic and so much more. First Friday starts early with Poet’s Corner readings by Kayte Pearlman from 4 to 5 p.m. with the galleries opening receptions following from 5 to 8 p.m. The Members’ Summer Co-op is still showing in our theatre for a few days, while the Hummingbirds as Art Exhibit in celebration of the 2014 Sedona Hummingbird Festival opens in the Special Exhibitions Gallery.
