Sedona, AZ –The Sedona Heritage Museum will host Morgan Leigh as its next speaker in the Sedona Stories Speaker Series.  Morgan’s talk will take place at 10 am on Thursday, January 8, in the historic Apple Shed at the Museum.
Morgan Leigh is a stroke survivor, author, storyteller, and unshakable believer in second chances. Her new book Stroke Warrior is not just a memoir; it’s a testament to what it means to fight for your future when your body, your brain, and your identity are rewritten overnight.
Diagnosed with a brain AVM (arteriovenous malformation) and multiple aneurysms at 18, Morgan lived with uncertainty for years. Then, a catastrophic rupture changed everything, leading to brain surgery, paralysis, and a recovery journey filled with pain and perseverance. She learned to walk again, speak again, create again. And she turned her survival into service.
Morgan speaks to spread awareness, to offer hope, and to remind us that resilience isn’t loud, it’s patient. It’s showing up. It’s choosing life again and again. She speaks for the survivors, the caregivers, the terrified, the hopeful, and for anyone who has ever wondered if they could rise after falling.
Morgan’s book is available at the Sedona Heritage Museum store, and will be available for purchase at the event.
Sedona Stories is a monthly program of the Sedona Heritage Museum.  It is held at 10 am on the second Thursday of every month.
The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, Arizona.  Open daily 11 am – 3 pm.  For more information call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
