    ATV Rollover Accident on Cornville Road

    logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCornville AZ (April 22, 2016) – On Thursday, April 21st at approximately 4:30pm the Verde Valley Fire District responded to Beaverhead Flat and Cornville Road for an ATV rollover accident.  Crews arrived on scene to find a ATV on the dirt road just South of Cornville Road and Beaverhead Flat Road.  The ATV was on its side upon arrival. 

    There were 2 passengers, one with minor injuries and the other with serous injuries requiring extensive medical treatment on scene.  The female passenger was stabilized by VVFD and then flown to Flagstaff Medical Center by Guardian Air Medical Helicopter.

    Assisting with the incident was a Montezuma Rim Rock Fire District Ambulance crew and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.  Both roads were closed for approximately 1/2 hour while a landing zone was established in the intersection.
