Sedona News – On May 24, 2024, at approximately 10:30 am, the suspect entered the La Ranita convenience and check cashing store in Sedona. He cornered and held an employee at gunpoint and demanded cash. The suspect then fled on foot from the scene, going northbound on Harmony Drive, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’8” to 5’10” tall weighing approximately 180-210 pounds, with black hair covered by a beanie-style hat, medium to fair skin tone, and black facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey or blue denim-style pants, and tan or grey shoes, possibly boots.
