The conversation, Ideas Into Action, will be held on Thursday, April 27 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Sedona Rouge, 2250 W. State Route 89A.

There is no cost to attend but registration is recommended and seating is limited; hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. Visit IdeasIntoAction427.eventbrite.com or call 928.399.7218 to RSVP. This is not a fundraising event, but an opportunity to learn about the impact and potential of your community foundation.

“ACF of Sedona is turning ideas into action within Sedona and the Verde Valley,” said Regional Philanthropic Advisor Tracey McConnell. “We channel the generosity of local residents to support nonprofit organizations and award scholarships to deserving students. Join us as we share positive stories about our community and learn how we can work together to improve the lives of our friends and neighbors.”

ATV rental companies have admitted that such vehicles are not intended or designed to be driven on paved roads, yet, in Arizona, they are allowed to do so under Arizona Revised Statute 28-1174 (4B). Opponents against the ordinance argued at the meeting that if adopted the ban would cripple the ATV rental industry in Sedona and cause much hardship to the owners and employees, as it would effectively, as written, destroy their livelihood.
