logo amitabhastupaSedona AZ (February 8, 2012) – The Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park in West Sedona has become a favorite place for both locals and visitors the world over who chose Sedona as a spiritual destination. Thousands visit the Stupa yearly. Securing the Stupa now and for future generations is the focus of multiple fundraising efforts. To that end everyone is invited to The Heartline Café, the gracious hosts of a scrumptious benefit buffet dinner, silent auction, and live entertainment on Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20 per person, cash or check only.

The not-to-be-missed entertainment line up features the enchanting sounds of virtuoso flamenco guitarist, Eric Miller, a Sedona favorite, and singer songwriter, Adalia Tara, back in Sedona from the East Coast and wowing audiences locally.

Local Sedona businesses, galleries, restaurants and individuals have been very kind and generous. We even have a live art sculpture demonstration. Many in our community love the Stupa and count on it being there every day for them. We hope lots of people can make it. It’s going to be a terrific community event to help make sure that the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park remain as is for decades to come,” said Alika Middleton, one of the organizers.

Stupas, rare in North America, are one of the oldest forms of sacred architecture. On the earth for more than 2,600 years, Stupas are known for their mystical power to heal, bring deep spiritual benefit and blessings, harmonize the environment and activate compassion and virtue for a troubled world. Local caretakers of the Sedona’s Amitabha Stupa will be on hand to answer any questions and set-up Sunday tours of the Stupa.

The Heartline Café is located in West Sedona t 1610 w. State Route 89A. Dinner is served nightly from 5 P.M. (928-282-0785).
