Sedona AZ (July 4, 2014) – While you cannot predict when an emergency will occur, you can be prepared. In less time than you think, American Red Cross training can give you the vital knowledge and skills you will need to respond to a life-threatening situation with confidence.
Parks and Recreation, in cooperation with certified American Red Cross Instructor, Monique Trujillo, are able to offer Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED Certifications. Class will be held at the Sedona Community Pool, 570 Posse Ground Road behind West Sedona School.
25 Hours of class time are spread over two weeks. Classes are Friday, July 25 and Friday August 1, 6:00-9:00 p.m., as well as Saturdays and Sundays, July 26 & 27 and August 2 & 3, 12:00-6:00 p.m. $200, includes Lifeguard Course and Lifeguard Starter Kit, $225, includes Lifeguard Course, Lifeguard Starter Kit and Printed Lifeguard Manual Course Requirements.
Class must be registered for in advance to insure that the class minimum is reached and that the class will be held.
