    ADOT Board Chair Bill Feldmeir Requests Discussion

    logo azdotSedona, AZ (June 10, 2011) – At Wednesday night’s City Council “Listening Session” in Uptown, City

    Manager, Tim Ernster, noted that he had just been notified that a

    discussion of the 89A Route Transfer Agreement was being scheduled for the

    June 17th agenda of the ADOT Board. This item was being scheduled at the

    request of the present ADOT Board Chair Bill Feldmeier. This meeting will

    be in Chinle, AZ and both the City Manager amd City Attorney will attend

    to answer questions if needed.                                                 [Watch video]

    Staff will update the Board on the status of the Sedona route transfer

    agreement and the referendum challenging its implementation. The Board

    will discuss, review, and may take action concerning options/alternatives

    concerning the agreement, possible installation of continuous lighting,

    and possible transfer of State Route 89A and issues related thereto which

    may include costs, schedules, and policies. (For discussion and possible action – John McGee)”
