Sedona, AZ — Sedona’s Hollywood sweetheart Gail Edwards will be the speaker at the Sedona Heritage Museum’s next Sedona Stories program.  Gail will speak on Thursday, February 12, at 10 am in the historic Apple Shed.  The program is free to attend.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day she will share highlights from her career…and dish on “the leading men I’ve had the privilege of kissing.  And there were quite a few!” says Edwards.
Upon moving to Sedona 30 years ago, Gail Edwards had retired from acting after performing in over 50 television shows such as Happy Days, Lou Grant, M*A*S*H, Taxi, Night Court, and Touched by an Angel to name a few.  She is best known for playing Dot Higgins in ABC’s It’s a Living, Sharon LeMeure in NBC’s Blossom, and Vicky Larson (Bob Saget’s love interest) in ABC’s Full House and Fuller House.
She has been directed by Jay Sandrich, James Burrows and Steven Spielberg and performed as Sandy in the East Coast Tour of “Grease” opposite Peter Gallager, Sally Bowles in “Cabaret” at the Gusman Theatre and as Mame (personally) for Jerry Herman’s inauguration of his University of Miami Theatre.  She opened for Frank Santra at the Fontainebleau Hotel and sang backup with Sergio Francie’s tour ending in Las Vegas.  For more visit Wikipedia.  Or for video fun go to YouTube.
Sedona Stories is a monthly program of the Sedona Heritage Museum.  It is held at 10 am on the second Thursday of every month.
The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, Arizona.  Open daily 11 am – 3 pm.  For more information call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
