Sedona, AZ — Forget the border. Forget inflation. Forget the ongoing wars. Forget the migrants. Forget rising crime and violence.
This election hinges upon abortion and women’s reproductive rights.
One can try as they might to get around this, but it will be women motivated enough to make it the polls and vote, who will be the deciding factor.
Bad news for Trump. He flops like a speared fish on a deck between supporting an extension of time for women to make a choice to not.
He is pissing off women on both sides of the aisle that get abortions and the bottom line is they don’t want anyone, especially men, telling them what they can or can’t do.
It’s a conundrum.
Republicans are supposed to be the party that fights government overreach while Democrats are all about making rules and control.
Yet, on the issue of abortion the tide has turned. Democrats want the right to abort with no government interference. Republicans want to stop them through government mandate.
The tightrope Trump is walking is slippery. One false move on this issue and he will plummet to the ground, with no net to catch him.
Wearing the cloak of being a Republican or Democrat is like wearing a uniform you can wear or cast off. When the reality of losing dominion over their bodies is realized, into the trash the cloaks will go.
Life is life and a decision to abort cannot be taken lightly. The taking of a life is a serious offense, even if that life is yet to be born.
But the right to one’s own body, when it comes to an abortion, supersedes the laws of men.
Yet, the right of a fetus to be born is sacrosanct as well. There is life in them. There is spirit. There is a soul that many believe is infused at the magical instant of conception.
But reproductive rights belong to the women. It’s her decision. And no one else. Even the father.
A deep dive into late-term abortions, will reveal that very few women choose to abort at that stage. And even less doctors are willing to assist.
Only if the life of the mother is at stake is it done.
Rape and incest conceptions are mostly aborted early in the term.
A woman or doctor that kills a healthy baby, late term, where there is no danger to the mother, is a monster.
The laws that allow late term abortions are there to allow such abortions only in the case of extreme danger to the mother where the fetus must come to term in order for the mother to survive.
Trump is in a quandary on this one.
Women who want to maintain their right to an abortion hate him.
So will the women who are pro-life.
And they will show their displeasure at the polls.
Presently, there is Proposition 139 on the ballot in Arizona that affirms a woman’s right to abort. So far, it looks like the state will vote in support of the pro-reproductive rights groups.
If that forecast is a bellwether, then candidate Trump is in trouble.
There really is no way he can spin his way out of this one.
Not even with his trade off of supporting In Vitro Fertilization while agreeing to a 24-week abortion window.
As if babies conceived by IVB will refill the dwindling supply of newborns, thinned by the aborted.

As for abortion, well I find it quite interesting that MEN want to dictate what WOMEN can or cannot do with THEIR OWN BODIES. Men cannot get pregnant and do not have to face such crucial decisions and consequences as a pregnant woman does and therefore men should be completely excluded from creating any laws regulating what woman or anyone else decides to do with their own bodies! Women and women only should have a vote on the issue and whatever the MAJORITY of women decide should be the law of the land.

Steve Bannon and Stephan Miller have been busy little boys attempting to build an International Alliance of Fascist’s during their many years working “behind the scenes” as Trump said when Bannon left the White House after nearly getting his arse handed to him by MG Kelly.

Sorry but states have never self regulated well. In fact until the EPA was established in 1970 US environmental pollution was at record highs. States did an abysmal job at regulating their own state industries which they profited from directly. The waterways were brown like chocolate milk and the air looked like that of China or India Today. But not every state had this problem. Only states of big industry, mining and fuel production were the major contributors and that is because nobody was regulating state level emissions. You want to return to that, good on you but I and millions of other Americans will vote against it every chance will get. The president does not work for the military and the military does not work for the president. The POTUS does make the ultimate command decisions (As Commander and Chief) on what actions the military does or does not take but the military works for our nation and national security. Congress ultimately decides what monies go to the military or don’t, which weapons and equipment it gets and how much is spent upon them, how much money goes into their training, infrastructure etc. The POTUS can pass or veto Congressional decisions. Of course when you have a corrupt president and corrupted Congress as we did with Trump those norms go out the window like it did in 2020-
