    Verde Valley News – Seniors looking for interesting things to do during the heat of summer need look no further! Yavapai College’s Osher Lifelong Learning Initiative (OLLI) has just released the catalog for its Verde Valley and Sedona courses and registration is now open for the Summer semester.

    20240606 OLLIThe Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Yavapai College offers academic, not-for-credit programs designed for adults 50 years old or older

    OLLI learning is social, enriching, and held in the cool, air-conditioned classrooms on YC’s Sedona and Verde Valley campuses. Members enjoy an oasis of comfort as they gather among like-minds for compelling study and stimulating discussions.

    The OLLI summer learning groups cover many topics, including: Active Mind & Body; Visual & Performing Arts; Computers & Technology; Finance; Economics & Law; Health & Nutrition; History & Current Affairs; Self-Enrichment; Writing, Literature and more!

    Best of all, OLLI courses require no homework or tests!

    Sedona Gift Shop

    Classes are held at the OLLI Sedona Center, 4215 Arts Village Drive in Sedona; the Verde Valley Campus, 610 Black Hills Drive in Clarkdale; and the Sedona Public Library at 25 West Saddlehorn Road in the Village of Oak Creek.

    Registration is already open for the Summer Term that runs June 24 – July 25, with no classes during the week of July 4.
