    A Safe Environment for Self Expression

    Art Classes For All Ages in Sedona

    05022011SedonaLogo2Sedona, AZ (August 12, 2011) – Beginning September 1, 2011, the City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department and Ms. Sunshower Rose are pleased to bring to you art tutorials for all ages. Ms. Rose refers to her tutorials/classes as “Creative Arts”. The goal of these classes are to provide a safe environment for self expression, and are designed to develop creative thinking skills including creative writing along with great diversity in drawing and painting with water-based paints and mixed media. The desired result of these classes is confidence in expressing one’s creative side.

    All classes will be taught in the Recreation Room located at Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Road in Sedona. Adult classes will be on Thursdays, from 1:30- 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. Junior High, Grades 6-8, will be on Thursdays, from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Elementary, Grades 3-5, will be on Fridays, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. High School, Grades 9-12, will be on Fridays, from 4:15-5:15 p.m. College Students over 18 years old will be Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. All classes will cost $7.50 per hour with an additional supplies fee of $25 on your first day of class.
