Sedona AZ (November 30, 2018) – This Verde Valley non-profit volunteer group provides support year round for Hopi families and Hopi service groups to help grow sustainability in their remote villages in northeastern Arizona.  Hopis are the descendants of the ancestral peoples of northern Arizona and still maintain ceremonial connection to many sites in our region.

Hopi community leaders participate in this winter food and gift distribution which occurs in several villages. The key needs identified by director Sandra Cosentino are gifts for youth and elders and monetary donations for purchase of food and supplies.  “Our focus for the youth is on art, learning, and sports supplies.”

20181130_hopi1We invite local people to make up toiletry and bath towel gift sets for the elders and enclose a card.  The elders really love receiving these!  Food items such as nuts, dried fruit, tuna, canned corned beef and natural peanut butter are also welcome.

If you love to shop on line, you can ship directly to one of our Hopi team members for inclusion in our December 17 delivery. please email for details: info@crossingworlds.org. We can provide an in-kind donation receipt for new gift items you purchase.

We, and our Hopi neighbors, appreciate the long time support of our Verde Valley community and people from across the U.S and Canada.

    Tax-deductible donations can be made:

    • via Paypal on our website: http://www.crossingworlds.org

    • or by Checks made out to Cornucopia with Crossing Worlds Hopi Projects in memo field and mailed to:  Crossing Worlds Hopi Projects. P.O. Box 3288, Sedona, AZ, 86340
