… emotions do not seem to be limited to humans as you can tell with some feathered friends who live in the neighborhood … in the photo above we have a small gathering of Lazuli Buntings that I got in a friends backyard as they discussed the issues of the day. Things escalated a bit and one of the dissenting members left and things settled down. They are amazing little one and to learn more about them, click on the magenta link in the name above.

Could Spring be Spring without the beautiful songs belted out one of my favorite bird species ever … The Red-winged Blackbird is found in every state and flocks can number in the millions! They have a fascinating life story and living beyond fifteen years is 9one of them.

Hump day tomorrow and the weekend is coming … quickly The Spring migration is hear too, this afternoon I saw Turkey Vultures overhead … given my age, I thought it best to stay inside lest they decide that I am already fair game 🙂 Natures waste management system!

Have a beautiful day … smile, keep breathing and be kind.

    Cheers,

And though age and infirmity overtake me,
and I come not within sight of the castle of my
dreams, teach me still to be thankful for life,
and for time’s olden memories that are good
and sweet; and may the evening’s twilight find me
    gentle still.

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
