20240530 SAVCO Open House FlyerThe SAVCO Mission: Whether you have an hour to spare every now and then, or are looking for an outlet for your time and talents — we welcome you to join SAVCO. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit group. Our mission is to be a vital, inclusive, and growing organization that embraces everyone.

SAVCO focuses on civic and social activities that are patriotic and non-political in nature. And, you don’t have to be a veteran to join. Our members are civic-minded women and men who care about the Sedona community. All members have the privilege of voting on organizational matters, holding elected or appointed office in the organization, and simply participating in whatever projects or activities interest them. Informal monthly meetings are held at the Sedona Community Center, 2615 Melody Lane, Sedona, AZ  86336, and fundraising activities, such as our annual Charity Golf Event, are held throughout the year.

Was one of the better US ceremonies I’ve been to outside of Arlington.

Best one I have ever been to I had the honor of being part of the honor guard of was at the American Military Cemetery in Firenze and seeing the graves of many of the famed Darby’s Rangers. Very humbling if you don’t think of them as Suckers and Losers!

The Golden Idols of our Lives

People want to use spirituality just like they want to use God. Fix me. Heal me. Help me. Awaken me. Overcome my enemies. Help my side win. People use money, power, force, and other people, exerting influence to the same end.
