As an added bonus, you can sail away with them to French Polynesia, as Nani and Keith perform songs from that part of the South Pacific. Don’t get too comfortable in your seats, because you will be given a chance to learn the Hukilau hula, a dance commonly learned by tourists at a Luau in Waikiki.

The night will conclude with a beautiful rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World, a song written and sung by Israel Kamakawiwoʻole (Bruddah Iz).

Nani & Keith Lowery are Island Joy Music. They have performed traditional Hawaiian music at prestigious venues around the country. In addition, they have recently been featured on Holland America Line cruises, performing traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian music. Nani plays the tenor, concert and baritone ukuleles, and Keith plays the UBass (Bass ukulele). Both of these entertainers sing, as well.

Island Joy Music will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15. All tickets include a meet-and-greet with Nani and Keith Lowery in the lobby after the show.
