Sedona AZ (September 27, 2012) – The 12th Annual Sedona Gem & Mineral Club Show and Sale will take place Saturday, October 20th from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, October 21st from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The Show will be held in the Cafeteria at the Sedona Red Rock High School located at 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road in West Sedona. The main cross street is 89A.

Admission to the Show is free for children 12 and under and $2 for adults. Parking for the Show is free. Over 40 vendors will be participating in this years’ event bringing their expansive collections to display and sell. Many artists have created special unique jewelry designs and many rock, gem and mineral vendors are returning with their specimens in both the rough and polished states.

Our Kids Corner is always a fun and educational experience for children. There are games to play, crafts to be made using stones and beads, and prizes to be won.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase provided by the students of the Red Rock High School as a fundraiser. We will have hourly, quality raffles throughout both Show days and Grand Prize Winners need not be present.

The Sedona Gem and Mineral Club meets the months of September through May at the Sedona Public Library. Meetings usually include a guest speaker, raffles and member’s displays of recent finds or works and lapidary projects. Monthly meetings are open to the public. We are proud to support the students at the Red Rock High School by presenting scholarships to this years’ graduating class.

This is an event the whole family will enjoy and Sedona’s fall colors will be an additional delight while attending the Show. Please visit the Club’s website for calendar of events, notices and more information regarding this annual event at www.sedonagemandmineral.org

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
