Wildcat Carnival Chairman, Karl Wiseman states: “The West Sedona School PTA is proud to sponsor this fun-filled community event while raising much-needed funds for West Sedona School. The kids have a great time and it’s wonderful to see the families, volunteers, staff, and local businesses come together for a good cause, year after year.”
The Wildcat Carnival is put on by the West Sedona School PTA, whose mission is to support the teachers and help the children get a better education. In the past, the WSS PTA’s efforts have helped raise much-needed funds for curriculum material, document cameras, computer lab upgrades, research aides, textbooks, and novels for Accelerated Readers. They also fund reimbursements to teachers for supplies that complement the educational experience in the classroom.
This year’s Wildcat Carnival would not be possible if it wasn’t for the generous sponsorship from local businesses. Gina Miller, WSS PTA President says “Our sponsors are amazing. They pull through for us every year. We really couldn’t put on the Carnival without them. And, to show our gratitude, all our sponsors will be on our website for a year and are getting extra exposure on our new Facebook page.” This year’s Wildcat Carnival sponsors include Sedona -Oak Creek Unified School District, Sterling Financial Services, Bashas, Dominos Pizza, BSE Rents, Don Nelms – Farmers Insurance, Rancho Sedona RV Park, Vince’s Auto Body, and Charlotte Howard Web Design.
