Jerome AZ (July 9, 2013) – Bring your friends, and enjoy Verde Valley wine while you reconnect with your artistic side. Verde Valley Wine Trail hosts a series of Wine pARTy classes! Wine pARTy classes are for anyone who has wanted to learn to paint and express their creativity, all while sipping on great wine in a relaxed, social atmosphere. The next class will take place Sunday, July 28th at Cellar 433 in historic Jerome.
Every Wine pARTy class is taught by a local, talented artist. All supplies and Verde Valley wine are included and students are able to keep the masterpiece they created. Each Wine pARTy class is different from the last as the venue and featured artist change monthly. For this class, hosted at Cellar 433, each participant will receive two Pineapple Sparkling Mimosas along with delicious fruits, cheeses, nut, and snack platters. When the class is over, spend the day exploring picturesque Jerome.
Wine Trail Painted Barrel artist Beth Courtwright will be teaching the class, she is a veteran Wine pARTy instructor. She is a thoughtful multi-media artist and educator, so the class will be fun and accessible to all levels. Students will be creating a “Masking Tape Art Assemblage” with a Wine Motif. Students will engage in activity which will challenge them to use found shape and color, in the format of hand painted masking tape to build out and create a unique piece of frame-able wall art.
