Film Festival presents Live from New York’s 92nd Street Y simulcast on Feb. 11
Sedona AZ (February 3, 2014) – New York’s famous 92nd Street Y returns to Sedona on Tuesday, Feb. 11 when the Sedona International Film Festival hosts The United States, Iran and Israel: What Next? The event will take place at 6:15 p.m. at the festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre, live as it is happening in New York.
The United States embarked on an historically unprecedented engagement with Iran at a moment when the Middle East has never seemed more volatile and unpredictable. What has it achieved? Join us as journalist and author Warren Kozak interviews acclaimed Middle East expert Michael Doran. Dr. Doran has served as a deputy assistant secretary of defense and a senior director at the National Security Council. He writes and lectures widely on the Middle East.
Michael Doran is a senior fellow in the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, where he specializes in Middle East security issues. He has held several academic positions and has served as a deputy assistant secretary of defense and a senior director at the National Security Council.
Warren Kozak is a journalist who has written for top network news anchors over the past twenty-five years. Winner of the prestigious Benton Fellowship at the University of Chicago in 1993, he has appeared on PBS and NPR as well as in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and other newspapers and magazines. Warren Kozak was born and raised in Wisconsin.
“Live from NY’s 92nd Street Y” features a series of lectures, interviews, panels and readings featuring newsmakers, political figures, opinion-shapers and authors. Join some of the world’s most fascinating people for compelling and thought-provoking interactive discussions on the issues and events that affect our lives. Most of the programs provide opportunities for questions and answers with the presenters where participants from remote locations can ask questions as if they were in the New York audience.
