Sedona AZ (July 11, 2012) – The heat of summer arrived earlier than usual in Sedona this year, and by now we are all looking for new ways to stay cool. Take a break from the dog days of summer at Rowe Fine Art Gallery on Aug. 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. during the Sedona Gallery Association’s 1st Friday Gallery Tour. Relax in the air-conditioned space with a glass of crisp white wine or lemonade while meeting some of the gallery’s local artists including sculptors Ken Rowe and Kim Kori, creators of the two ethereal bronzes in the roundabouts on SR 89A at Brewer Road and SR 179. Master jeweler Liam Herbert will also be in the gallery discussing his wearable sculptures including his popular Spirit Totem pendent.
August is also the perfect time to become reacquainted with the gallery’s selection of traditional and contemporary southwestern artists. Check out the latest work from painters Vince Fazio, Lynn Heil, Sue Krzyston, John Poon, Linda St. Clair and Gabor Svagrik. Enjoy the latest sculptures from Walt Horton, Doug Hyde, Kim Kori, Erik Petersen, Ken Rowe and Jason Scull as well as the images of graphite artist and Sedona local Jack Morley. If you prefer to keep your art close to your heart, Rowe Fine Art also represents jewelers Liam Herbert, Jennifer Inge and Cherie Danielle.
Stay tuned for some exciting announcements and shows this fall!
