    Spur Ventures announces weekly Saturday Event

    logo_spurventuresCamp Verde AZ (February 19, 2014) – Spur Ventures, in partnership with White Hills Winery & Gallery, is pleased to announce a new weekly event, called “Flavors of the Verde Valley” from 11-4pm to take place on Saturdays at White Hills, in downtown Camp Verde at 325 S. Main St.

    In response to the overall success of this month’s “Flavors of the Verde Valley” festival, the event will host local artisans and vendors creating handmade goods in the Verde Valley, music, wine tasting, live painting demonstrations and more. Artisans and vendors will have local products for sale including soaps made from goat milk, breads, art, candles, baked goods, and more.

    Sedona Gift Shop

    The event will be free to the public. The first Saturday for Flavors of the Verde Valley ongoing event will be on Saturday March 1st. For more information or how to participate as a vendor, visit www.spurhq.com.

    Council Slams the Brakes on Flock Surveillance in Sedona

    The Sedona City Council through a majority consensus voted 5–1 at its Wednesday, August 13, special meeting, to temporarily shelve a controversial auto license-reading surveillance program, with council members  Melissa Dunn, Kathy Kinsella  Brian Fultz,  Derek J. Pfaf and Pete Furman giving a thumbs down,  and Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow supporting the cameras.
