Sedona News – The Sedona Heritage Museum is offering free admission to local residents every Thursday for the remainder of July through August. The dates for these free Community Days are July 18th and 25th, and August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
“We are excited to welcome local residents to the Sedona Heritage Museum for free this summer,” said Nate Meyers, executive director of the Museum. “It’s a great opportunity for them to see the changes we’ve made in recent months and explore our two newest exhibits I Paint: The Life and Artwork of Helen Jordan and The Original McDonald’s Turquoise Arches.”
Residents of Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, and across the Verde Valley are considered local. To receive their free admission, local residents need only tell Museum staff and volunteers at the front desk that they are local. There is no limit to the number of times local residents may take advantage of this opportunity.
The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, Arizona. Open daily 11 am – 3 pm. For more information call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
