    One-day-only debut comedy finds rival scientists teaming up to set things right

    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the one-day-only premiere of “Advanced Chemistry” on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

    A scientist injects his best friend with a compound he's created to help her stop cheating on her wife, but when the wife finds her new fixation suffocating, the wife gets a dose too, which backfires as she falls for the scientist in “Advanced Chemistry”.

    Allen, a brilliant biochemist who’s unlucky in love, devises a compound to turn polyamorous leanings into monogamous ones. He injects his best friend, Marcia, to help her overcome her habit of cheating on her wife, Sarah.

    But when Sarah finds Marcia’s new fixation on her to be suffocating, Marcia insists Allen give Sarah a dose too. However, Allen’s intervention takes an unexpected turn as Sarah falls for him, who must team up with a rival scientist, Lisa, for whom he’s falling, to set things right.

    “Advanced Chemistry” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Monday, Nov. 4 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m.
