    Sedona Airport Announces Meet the Manager’ Sessions

    Sedona, AZ –The Sedona-Oak Creek Airport Authority (SOCAA) is pleased to announce that Ed Rose, Sedona Airport Manager, will be conducting a series of ‘Meet the Manager’ informational meetings to foster understanding between the Airport, Sedona, Village of Oak Creek, and the greater Verde Valley Community.  Members of the community will be able to ask questions, see how the airport benefits the community, and have their concerns heard.

    The first of these meetings will be held at the Sedona Airport Conference room on Thursday, the 13th of March at 11am.  The meetings are to last about an hour, take place in an informal setting, and will be limited to a total of 6 members of the community at each session to make productive conversation possible.  Future sessions will be announced on the airport website.

    Airport Manager Ed Rose stated, “I’m always looking for opportunities to listen to what members of the community have to say and engage with them.”

    The Sedona City Council through a majority consensus voted 5–1 at its Wednesday, August 13, special meeting, to temporarily shelve a controversial auto license-reading surveillance program, with council members  Melissa Dunn, Kathy Kinsella  Brian Fultz,  Derek J. Pfaf and Pete Furman giving a thumbs down,  and Sedona Mayor Scott Jablow supporting the cameras.
