logo rowegallerySedona, AZ (October 17, 2011) – Wildlife sculptor, gallery owner and Sedona resident Ken Rowe has been hard at work on his latest sculpture, and now he’s ready for the big reveal. On Nov. 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. during the Sedona Gallery Association’s 1st Friday Gallery Tour, Ken will unveil the pre-cast bronze sculpture during “Sculpture in the Making.” Art collectors will have the opportunity to pre-purchase the artwork at a special price during the event. Come share a glass of wine with Ken and learn more about his inspiration and creative process.

20111018 kenroweWhile the subject matter of this latest sculpture is top secret – even the gallery’s expert staff is on pins and needles – Ken promises it will be worth the wait. “I get excited every time I debut a new sculpture in the gallery,” says Ken who spent time this summer traveling the American West and discovering new inspiration for his art. “It’s a great opportunity to meet with our wonderful collectors, share the story behind the art and receive their feedback. It’s going to be a memorable evening.”

Ken has lived in Sedona since 1995. He and his wife, Monica, opened Rowe Fine Art Gallery in 2010. Ken has been sculpting full time for more than 15 years. This fall, he was chosen to take part in the Society of Animal Artists 51st Annual Art and the Animal Exhibition and National Tour for the sixth consecutive year. This year also marks the second time he has received the Society’s Evelyn and Peter Haller Memorial Award for Sculpture.
