Camp Verde, AZ – The Camp Verde Community Library is seeking to recruit enthusiastic volunteers to help Camp Verde Elementary students in 3rd grade improve their reading skills after school during the 2025-2026 school year.
This program, created in partnership with the Camp Verde Elementary School, places children reading below 3rd grade level with reading support volunteers to provide one-on-one instruction in reading to help students improve their skills. Volunteers work with the students one-and-a-half hours a day, two days a week to enhance reading skills and confidence. No prior experience tutoring or teaching is necessary, and all supplies are provided. If interested, please stop by the library to get a volunteer application form at the front desk.
