City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (November 4, 2011) – The City of Sedona and the Citizens Steering Committee for the new Community Plan are delighted to announce the opening of your public Community Plan Room at an Open House on Monday, November 14 from 1 – 7 p.m.  This event will be held in the Community Plan Room at the Vista del Norte building located at 1725 W. SR 89A, Suite D (on the southeast corner of Northview Road and 89A).  Serving as an active design studio and a public gathering space, the Room will be initially open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 – 7 p.m.

Two local architects who serve on the Citizens Steering Committee for the new Community Plan are donating professional architectural, planning and design assistance, especially during the development of alternative future visions.  Their work-in-progress will be on display in the Community Planning Room.

The Room will also contain copies of past plans, maps, other communities’ successes and be a repository for public comments and professional articles. In short, everything you ever wanted to know about the Sedona’s New Community Plan will be available at this convenient location.
