Sedona AZ (May 3, 2012) – The Sedona Heritage Museum presents the “Cactus Cats” duo in a special free performance of “Music at the Museum Honors Mothers” on Saturday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Museum.
Come listen to great country and folk music and bring Mom! Each mother in attendance will receive a free music cd of songs from the concert.
Cactus Cats is northern Arizona’s premiere country and folk duo. They’ll be playing love songs for Mother and great old tunes in keeping with both the date and the venue. Their repertoire includes a wide variety of music, funny tunes, nostalgic songs, and classic toe-tappin’ country. They’ve got great harmonies and interesting arrangements.
People say: “The Cactus Cats offer the best ‘Country Classics’ I have heard in a long time. Your voices blend so well in the duets you do plus Lorena’s renditions of classics originally performed by Patsy Cline and Anne Murray among others are impeccable. And Mike does a great guitar as well as comedy solos.”
The concert is about an hour long. Cookies will be served. Concert and cds for mom’s are all FREE. Come early and enjoy the Museum, separate admission.
The Sedona Heritage Museum is located at 735 Jordan Rd in Jordan Historical Park. The Museum is open daily 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more info about this special presentation or the Museum, 928-282-7038.
