Dear Editor,
[Attached] you will find a copy of the fundraising publication Paul Gosar distributed to me and other former supports this past December 30th, 2011. Within the text he expresses a fear the media may portray “Support for Congressman Gosar is Weak.“, and states, “That would be devastating to our campaign and our momentum for victory next year.” He makes these statements all while asking my family for more campaign money to fight Ann Kirkpatrick. Congressman Gosar’s cowardly choice to run for a safer republican seat, where he doesn’t even live, should be more concerning than not having enough campaign money. Paul Gosar intentionally misled his supporters, while planning all along to abandon them. Making false statements about being singled out by democrats and begging supporters to help him defeat Kirkpatrick, all while he secretly organized his retreat plan. I want Dr. Gosar to know, “We realize now you can’t be trusted and you lied to your own supporters. What does it tell those who backed you and who have worked so hard casting you in a positive light, when you don’t even trust them to elect you to Congress? Do you really think you stand a better chance with people who don’t know you? First impressions are everything! I hope the people in the river district see you in a more truthful light now… as dark as it may be.”
