Judge Whitmer stated, “I am grateful for the trust the citizens of Yavapai County have placed in me. I am humbled by the meaningful task in front of me. I promise to do all I can to ensure everyone is treated with respect, the Constitution is followed, and justice is done. It is an honor to serve in this capacity.”
Judge Whitmer’s term will begin when the Yavapai County Election has been certified on November 20, 2024. He will succeed the incumbent, Judge Danalyn Savage, who was appointed by Governor Katie Hobbs to fill the Division 5 vacancy created by the resignation of Celé Hancock in January 2024.
The Superior Court would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Judge Danalyn Savage for her service to the court, community, and judicial system.
