Arizona News – Groundwater is one of Arizona’s most precious and least-understood natural resources. The Citizens Water Advocacy Group (CWAG) will host an informational program regarding groundwater regulation in Arizona on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Andy McCoy of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office will provide a background on Arizona’s complex legal framework for regulating groundwater and lay out options for state and local governments to better protect their groundwater supplies.

This will be a Zoom-only meeting. Please register at the “Next Event” link at www.cwagaz.org.

Perhaps the “Quad Cities Region” should stop encouraging rapid growth of housing, farming and industry? Should also prohibit selling land and water rights to foreign investors/governments too! That would go a long way in conserving our precious waters.
Hotels, Motels and BnB’s should also be required to install timers on their shower lines like they do in many European places of lodging where showers cut off after 15-20 mins and some US RV parks and Campgrounds where showers are coin operated.
