Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Lost on a Mountain in Maine”, showing Nov. 29-Dec. 5 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres.
Produced by Sylvester Stallone and based on the best-selling book of the same name, “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” tells the inspiring true story of 12-year-old Donn Fendler, who becomes separated from his family by a fast-moving storm atop a treacherous mountain.
For nine days Donn fights to stay alive as he attempts to survive the unforgiving wilderness of northern Maine without food, proper clothing, or the knowledge of how bad his situation really is.
His disappearance sparks a massive search effort that captures national headlines and attracts hundreds of volunteers, including his own father who fears he may never see his son again.
“Lost on a Mountain in Maine” will be shown at Alice Gill Sheldon and Mary D. Fisher Theatres Nov. 29-Dec. 5. Showtimes will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m.; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 2, 3 and 4 at 6:30 p.m.; and Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:00 p.m.
