Camp Verde AZ (June 4, 2021) – The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising motorists to plan for daytime delays on State Route 260 between Camp Verde and Pine starting Tuesday, June 8, as crews perform maintenance to the roadway.
Drivers should slow down, proceed through the work zone with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are in place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, through Thursday, June 10:
- SR 260 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound travel between mileposts 243 and 244.
- A 12-foot vehicle width limit will be in place.
- Flaggers will direct drivers through the work zone.

I drove through this construction yesterday. I have to say there should be a pilot car taking people through this. I watched a van a couple cars in front of me going back and forth between both lanes because he was confused and another truck on my way back that slammed on the brakes because it was going to fast when it came up to the workers. It was really quite dangerous.
