By Ted Grussing
… through the lens, eyes and mind of Ted Grussing … the book is finished ( I think) and I’m waiting to hear from my friends who are reviewing it for me, then the final changes and off to the publisher. In addition to the print version, I will be doing a Kindle version as well since they now do Kindle versions with full color photographs in them.
The next project which shouldn’t take too long is a revision and update to my first book, Ten Days in January, a journey. The book deals with caregiving, respite breaks and a particularly enjoyable one I took in 2006. I was Corky’s caregiver for twenty three years and the last ten or so years were very intense … when the inevitable loss occurs there is an immense void and you try to find your way forward while adjusting to an entirely new life. It is in dealing with these issues that the revision/supplement to the book will address.
Then a short break to enjoy life in other ways before I begin the next one … no idea what it will be about, but I am sure that I will figure that one out.
This is a composite I did a number of years ago, it features Q looking through a stained glass door that our friend Mary had made and installed in her home. Fortunately for Mary, she was able to see what awaited her before she made the decision to leave the door closed … Q looked very hungry!
Have a beautiful day … keep breathing

Give me to gladly go
My way and say
No word of mine own woe;
But let me smile each day
