This particular show features a few very talented glass artists:

Terry & Marilyn Alexander, residents of both Fountain Hills and Sedona, have been Arizonans for 17 years since moving from Texas.   Their unique and original stained and fused glass work including their popular “Comanche Moon” is used as accents to their steel sculptures which embody the ART of the SOUTHWEWST.  Their works are found throughout the country and the world.

The very talented Karen Hammer of the Crimson Fairy.   Karen’s love of nature, energies, bright colors and all things ‘winged’… inspires her to create her unique pieces with magical charm.  In 2002, Karen brought the Fairy to the Verde Valley where she expanded her line to include fused dichroic glass and more metaphysically themed glass pieces such as her Prayer Fairies and Goddesses. Some of Karen’s larger pieces hang in the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the Colorado River Indian Tribes’ Tribal Library.   Karen continues to explore different ways to use her glass and beads to create her Dragonflies, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, Fairies and more.

20160906_redrose2These artists have been working in the studio all summer long, creating new glass art to be displayed exclusively at the Red Rose Art Shows.  Some of their work can be found in galleries and shops around town but this is your only opportunity to meet them in person and purchase directly from the artist.

Come out for a fun filled weekend and support animal rescue! Free Admission and Live Music performed by Singer and Songwriter Gina Machovina, a classically trained guitarist who has been performing for over 30 years.

    Trust

Trust. We must trust our president. He knows what he is doing, and when he is done with Iran there will be peace and stability in the world. His ordering of the attack on Iran and the killing of the Ayatollah was the right thing to do.
