Hot ‘Monday Night Jam’ at Olde Sedona Bar & Grill on Sept 17th

By Zoska Landers | Sedona Verde Valley Times

Sedona, AZ - Hot on the heels of last Monday’s rockin’ Open Jam Night at Olde Sedona Bar & Grill, Orange Records recording artist Tommy Acosta is hosting yet another smokin’ jam at the same club on Sept 17, starting at 9 p.m. and rolling to closing.

Some of Sedona’s best local musicians turned out last week for the Monday Night Open Jam, an informal gathering of locals laying down beats, blues, and extended jams packed with creativity and musical virtuosity.

The music didn’t stop until 2 a.m. in the morning, closing time for Olde Sedona Bar & Grill on 89A.

“It was awesome,” said tourist Helene Sabel after the show. “Sedona rocks!”

This coming Monday, Sept. 17, guest-star and master percussionist Three Trees will add his musical talents to the mix, demonstrating his formidable musical skills on percussion and bass guitar as well.

Three Trees also makes custom drums, Native Flutes, Didgeridoos and is co-owner of Nawari Studios, encompassing drum classes, belly dancing classes and spiritual growth classes as well. Check out Three Trees’s Web site, www.wholeliferesources.com.

Other musicians scheduled to make a guest appearance include Jack Reeves, a multi-talented recording artist and performer who can rock any instrument on a stage.

“You never know whose going to show up at an open jam but one thing is for sure, the music will be loud, rockin’ and full,” said Monday Night Jam host Tommy Acosta.

ThunderBeat will be there again and if you like hard drumming and high energy you’re in for a treat. Check out her Web site at http://www.thunderbeat.com/.
